Toddler Messy Play
Ages 2-4 years
Messy play stimulates the senses, giving toddlers the opportunity to experience a wide range of sensory art experiences. Prepared solutions of finger-paints and slime give toddlers a unique opportunity to experiment with different tactile experiences. During messy play, toddlers are developing their hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills. What looks like mess on the surface is truly a valuable learning experience.
For parents it may feel like a bit of work and stressful but don’t be afraid of the mess. Throw on some old clothes, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with your little one. Guaranteed it is a great bonding and social experience for everyone.
