Oil Painting Course

Learn to paint with oils at the Art House Killarney with our Beginner Painting Class. The aim of this course is to progress students, wishing to transition from acrylic, to painting with oils. In order to train the eye to see line, colour and shade correctly, equal focus will be placed on drawing and painting. A variety of subject matter will be explored including landscapes, still life and elements of figurative painting. Students will study the materials, techniques and methods of oil painting in a relaxed and supportive environment. To further enhance student’s work, lessons will incorporate important artist work, colour mixing and colour theory through explanation and practice.

Starts Monday April 17th at 7.00-9.00pm for 7 Weeks, with Artist Elizabeth Baxter.
Age range: 16 years and over.

All materials provided.

Deposit of €30 – Full Price €160.
Remainder of the balance payable on the first class.
