Portrait Drawing & Painting Classes

At the Art House Killarney we are excited to introduce our new portrait drawing and painting course which covers a structured and reliable method to portrait painting. This course is designed to gradually build knowledge week by week. Students will begin with the drawing stage where they will be taught the techniques and skills to accurately draw the face and head in proportion and with correct measurement. From here, colour will be introduced with a specific focus on achieving realistic skin tones. The student will complete a number of small facial studies to practice the skills they have learnt and will then progress to the full and finished portrait.

Starts Monday September 11th for 6 weeks with Artist Elizabeth Baxter.
Time: 7.00pm – 9.00pm
Age Range: 16 and over

All materials provided.

Deposit of €30 – Full Price €130
Remainder of the balance payable on the first class.
